Course Summary
The ECU Remapping & Performance Tuning Course is a four-day intensive, hands-on training program designed to teach you the theory and practical skills involved in modern automotive performance tuning, ECU remapping, calibration and dyno tuning.

Is the course practical or theory-based?
Both. The course combines classroom theory with hands-on workshop training. You’ll work with modern engine management systems, current tuning software and live vehicles, including practical training on a chassis dynamometer.
Will I work on real vehicles?
Yes. The course is designed around practical learning using live vehicles and a chassis dynamometer, allowing you to apply what you learn in a real workshop environment.
Do I need previous tuning experience?
The course covers the foundations of performance tuning before progressing into ECU remapping, calibration and more advanced applications. If you already have automotive or technical experience, the course can also help you build on your existing knowledge.

Who is the trainer?
Training is delivered by Eric, a qualified trainer and experienced performance tuner with a background in automotive performance and engine management.
Eric holds a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and has hands-on experience with petrol, diesel and turbocharged engines, ECU remapping, dyno tuning and calibration
How many people are in each class?
ProTune keeps class sizes intentionally small to allow for personalised instruction and hands-on learning. The ideal class size is around 8 participants, with a maximum of 10.
